Hello สวัสดีค่ะ
Both of my parents were artists. When I was young, my mom used to take me to galleries with her to drop of her painting. I remembered that I would go straight to where all the abstract work were displayed and looking at them until it was time to leave. The colors, shape, forms and textures captivated my interests. Every time on the way home, I would say to my mom, I didn't understand those painting but they were beautiful.
I started to paint when I moved here in 2008. At the beginning, I painted because I was missing my mom and Thailand but as years go by, I continue painting because it makes me happy. My painting is me, daring, bold, bright and expressive and my root is from Thailand.
I would not become an artist today without encouragement and support from Streed family, artists and volunteers at Portland Art Museum Rental Sales Gallery and patrons who appreciate my work. Thank you for your kindness and your love of arts.
